Our European HQ located in La Défense is looking to recruit an Junior Underwriter (on a Fixed term Contract of 6 months) to develop and manage our current Terrorism & Political Violence portfolio in France.

Terrorism has been marketed actively over the past months and we’re now clearly identified as a key player in in France. We believe it’s time to invest in a dedicated and skilled Terrorism Underwriter in order to take the next step forward.

Role Responsibilities

Maintain and develop our presence on the Terror/PV market, maintain our GWP and profitability Develop relationships with brokers in order to ensure visibility and promote Chubb as a Go To Market for Terrorism/PV Being able to proactively adapt our offer to market needs Being able to set up and develop multinational programs with the help of our Multinational Service team Under the responsibility of the Property Country Manager, being accountable for the strategy and results (loss ratio) of the segment Cross work with other Chubb underwriters on specific package products

Qualifications

Masters degree or equivalentAt least 3 years‘ experience in a similar underwriting position on this specific segement of business, OR At least 3 years’ experience in Property Underwriting and willing to be training in a new segmentFluent French and English
