What You Will Do to Change Lives

Provides clinical leadership and consultation to inpatient staff, persons served, and families. Provides direct services to persons served, community consultation and assessment of assigned persons. Provides education and support to persons served and their families. Coordinates service needs and collaborates with other services and agencies as necessary and appropriate. Completes in vivo screenings and assessments of persons served as needed and recommended by the interdisciplinary team. The Staff Psychologist shall also be responsible for any psychological testing required for specific persons served. In addition, the Staff Psychologist shall assume the Licensed Independent Practitioner role and shall function as a member of the facility medical/clinical staff and a credentialed provider in the program.

Psychologist - Short-hour- variable schedule (75% remote, 25% on site)

Compensation -

Expected starting Employee wage range  $61.23/hr-$94.75/hr

Independent Contractor wage range  $76.56/hr-$118.43/hr

Telecare applies geographic differentials to its pay ranges.  The pay range assigned to this role will be based on the geographic location from which the role is performed.  Starting pay is commensurate with relevant experience above the minimum requirements.

What You Bring to the Table (Must Have)

·       PH.D. in clinical psychology or a related field and licensed as a Psychologist in California

·       A valid driver’s license, DMV clearance and proof of insurance are required.

Telecare MLK Adult Psychiatric Health Facility (PHF) is a 16-bed acute inpatient facility for adults 18+ experiencing a mental health illness related emergency. Admission is voluntary or involuntary (5150).

Horizon View 

The Horizon View Mental Health Rehabilitation Center (MHRC) is a 16-bed facility providing comprehensive inpatient mental health and psychiatric treatment services for adults 18+ with serious mental illness.
