SOX Risk & Control Analyst (8-month) Intern/Co-op – Summer/Fall 2025

As an intern joining the Risk & Controls team within Global Wealth and Asset Management, you will assist with day-to-day activities such as facilitating stakeholder meetings, reviewing and documenting risks and controls, and reviewing evidence for SOX controls. You will also update the Archer system, including pulling tickets from ServiceNow, and support team members with various initiatives and special projects as needed. Throughout the internship, you will develop influencing, negotiation, and group presentation skills while gaining exposure to regulatory matters and their importance within a financial institution. Additionally, you will contribute to ad hoc tasks and assignments to support the team’s objectives and goals. 

 

Position Responsibilities:  

Gain exposure to risks and controls within a financial institution. 

Develop influencing and negotiation skills through practical experience. 

Enhance group presentation skills by participating in team and stakeholder meetings. 

Gain a greater appreciation for the importance of regulatory matters and their impact on the organization. 

Assist team members with SOX controls evidence review and updating the Archer system. 

Pull and manage tickets from ServiceNow to ensure timely resolution and documentation. 

Facilitate stakeholder meetings to discuss and address project needs and updates. 

Support various initiatives and special projects as needed, providing assistance and input where required. 

Contribute to ad hoc tasks and assignments to support the team’s objectives and goals. 

 

Required Qualifications: 

Currently enrolled in as undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Finance, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field. 

Basic analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy, including the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and report data. 

Familiarity with reporting tools such as PowerBI is a plus. 

Strong communication, consulting, decision-making, and influencing skills. 

Effective time management and organizational skills to handle multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities. 

Ability to work both independently and within a team, with strong multitasking capabilities. 

Eagerness to learn, take on responsibility, and contribute as a team player.
