Job Description
Operate chemical compounding equipment and create the correct chemical reactions. Follow specific batch sheets and document all corresponding information throughout daily activities. Use specific measuring equipment to weigh out raw materials to the correct proportions. Safely handle and properly dispose of regulated waste, wastewater, hazardous materials, etc. Perform addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division to ensure correct amounts are used and correct percentages of finished materials. Perform QC checks on finished materials, in-process materials, and raw materials as needed.

The work environment is generally clean, but some areas and chemicals can be dirty or hot. Some furnaces can increase the temperature when running. Operators will work in hooded areas to handle hazardous chemicals safely. Comfortable working in hotter environments, dirtier areas, and with hazardous materials is necessary. You will work with every element on the periodic table. The team consists of seven people and will expand to 12 to 15 when fully staffed across all shifts. This is a 1st shift opening with hours from 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, with options for overtime and weekend work. This is a chemical manufacturing environment requiring adherence to all safety processes, standards, and ISO regulations. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $23.25 - $26.25/hr.
