Overview The Spa Attendant at Loma de Vida is an integral member of the team that creates distinctively different and authentic experiences for our guests and will exemplify La Cantera Resort and Spa culture while working to always provide exceptional service to both internal and external guests. The Spa Attendant is responsible for the cleanliness, maintenance of standards and safety of the locker room, solarium including outdoor patio and general guest relaxation areas. Furthermore, will the Spa Attendant provide direction or instruction and assistance to guests when needed. The Spa Attendant shall strive to provide exceptional service to both internal and external guests at all times. S/he will be responsible for exemplifying the La Cantera Resort and Spa Culture as well as promoting La Cantera Resort and Spa as both the Destination and Employer of Choice! ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Maintain a safe, clean and well-organized spa environment through consistent monitoring of the women’s and common areas based on check lists and guidelines. Keep locker room and common areas supplies and amenities consistently stocked. Inform management when stock is low. Maintain knowledge of spa and hotel features/services, hours of operation, and any promotions. Maintain eye contact when addressing external and internal guests; develop professional and personalized relationships with regular guests. Maintain complete confidentiality in all guest matters in accordance with company policy. Handle guests’ questions and concerns professionally and courteously. Provide accurate, appropriate, and immediate responses to all requests by guests, ensuring complete guest satisfaction. Develop ability to work without constant direct supervision and remain at assigned post for extended periods of time. Qualifications High School diploma or equivalent, ability to read, write and speak English. One year of customer service related experience required. Friendly, energetic, dependable and customer oriented. Must be very detailed oriented and have the ability to work with a variety of customers, staff and management in a cooperative manner.
