Overview As a Spa Concierge you are responsible for answering incoming calls, scheduling appointments, processing guest transactions and managing retail prducts within the spa boutique. Responsibilities The Spa Concierge's typical job functions include: Opening and closing spa properly each day according to Standard Operating Procedures Booking, changing and accurately canceling spa appointments Acknowledging and greeting everyone who enters and leaves spa facilities Providing guest tours of the spa Utilizing spa computers with skill and proficiency Maintaining spa desk bank Answering the phone promptly and using the guest’s name throughout the phone conversation Providing detailed descriptions and actively promote the spa, treatments, retail, as well as programs, promotions and/or discounts available Maintaining eye contact when addressing external and internal guests Providing accurate, appropriate and immediate responses to all requests by guests, ensuring complete guest satisfaction Maintaining a clean; safe, fully stocked and well organized spa facility including the relaxation lounge Developing ability to work without constant direct supervision and remaining at assigned post for extended periods of time Maintaining a positive attitude and contribution toward a quality work environment Attending and participating in spa meetings and support trainings Assisting in all areas of spa operation as requested by management Communicating to management any and all occurrences involving staff or guests in the spa that require attention Qualifications This position may be for you if: You are at least 18 years old You are available to work evenings, weekends and holidays You have achieved a high school diploma or general education degree (GED) You are able to perform heavy lifting up to 50 pounds You are able to interact with guests in a friendly manner You work well independently, take direction, are detail oriented and able to work successfully with others You are able to maintain a positive attitude and contribute toward a quality work environment
