ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:  

Guest Service:  

Consultation and familiarization of services, amenities, spa and hotel facilities.  Appointment setting and coordination thereof.  Utilize telephone according to Four Seasons service standards.  Utilize chat and e-mail according to Four Seasons standards.  Consultation and sales of all retail items.  Anticipation of guest needs.  Problem solving and fair and decisive decision-making.  

Computer Programs:  

Comprehensive knowledge of Spa Booking System software program, Book4Time.  Applicable knowledge of our hotel interface software programs.  Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office programs.  General Spa e-mail application.  Processing of Gift Certificate requests.  

Staff Coordination:  

Booking, organization and fair balancing of appointments.  Therapist / Trainer schedule confirmation.  Communication in accordance to guests needs.  Coordination of request and specialized service bookings.  Communication to Attendants of updates/changes of tasks and bookings.  Assistance to Attendants and Therapists when needed.  

Cashier / POS:  

Proper application of services and gratuities.  Proper assignment of facial product sales.  Processing of service vouchers.  Proper utilization of Cash payments and Bank balances. Research and problem solving of vouchers.  

Retail products:  

Product knowledge.  Re-stocking and assisting management with receiving, pricing, and display.    Maintain area and products clean and organize Maintain packaging stock levels Maintain Four Seasons standards of service in any situation.  Responsible for hourly check of all guest areas such as locker areas, fitness areas, Spa relaxation rooms to ensure all areas are clean, neat, orderly and all equipment is functioning properly.  

Reception Desk:  

Maintain neat and organized.  Update of forms and reference materials.  Supply requisition and re-stocking. The ability to send and receive emails according to FS standards and protocols.    The ability to use the telephone following FS standards and protocols.   The ability to use computerized programs and equipment in the spa following FS Standards and protocols.    The ability to book reservations, make recommendations and check in/out guests of the spa following FS Standards and protocols.    

Interdepartmental:

The ability to communicate in English.  The ability to provide the proper and safe operation of all spa equipment and be familiar with all hotel services and hours of operation.  The ability to work closely with engineering to inform them of potential and existing problems, accurately and promptly.  The ability to ensure safety procedures are followed and notify security of any accident or injury. The ability to work with Housekeeping to keep the area meticulously clean and fresh.  The ability to clean areas as necessary.  The ability to handle lost and found items.  

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:  

Reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English language.  Superior communications skills  A superior sense of organization and ability to prioritize in a busy environment  Patience  Previous hotel and computer knowledge preferred  Great and honest smile High grooming standards 2 years’ experience on a similar position Education: High School Degree or equivalent
