ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Listen and respond to guest inquiries using a positive, clear speaking voice. Answer questions and offer assistance to provide guest satisfaction.Must be able to work weekends and holidays.Analyze patrons' hair to determine and recommend appropriate treatmentTreat clients in professional setting with strong effort placed towards providing a quiet and relaxing atmosphereDemonstrate, educate and sell related retail productsMaintain a clean and safe environmentConfer with clients about their health concerns, allergies and products they are currently using to determine any contraindicationsPerform all hair care related treatments on spa menu according to treatment protocolPrepare products, supplies and equipment as stated in protocolsAchieve weekly retail sales goalAbility to work with various related products and tools including scented and unscented hair care products, heated or chilled stones/glass, infrared units, steam units, hot irons, heat lamps and other hair care tools as requiredMaintain all inventory items and supplies and communicate needs in advanceProvide special assistance to all guest and groups, immediately take care of any customer complaints

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILIITES

Must have a track record of performing each essential responsibility satisfactorilyBe able to provide clear direction, instruction and guidance to guestsMust be able to listen and respond to guest inquiries in a positive and professional mannerHigh School Diploma or GED preferredMinimum 1 years of experience in Spa operations preferredAny combination of education, training, or experience listed that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.Exceptional oral and written communication skillsInterpersonal skills to productively deal with business contacts and team members at all levels of the companyPossess a strong attention to detail and engaging presentation skillsEffectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, staff, clients, and general public. Accurately add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure and calculate figures and amountsSolve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization existsInterpret and follow through on a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule formExcellent time management, problem solving and organizational skills are a must.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee: must be able to maintain physical stamina and proper mental attitude to work under pressure in a fast-paced, casino environment and effectively deal with customers, management, team members and others.  Is regularly required to sit; stand; walk and move through all areas of the casino; speak and hear; use hands to finger, handle, or feel.  May reach with hands and arms above shoulder level; bend/stoop, squat, balance, kneel, lift and push/pull. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.  Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance visions, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
