The Spa Inventory Receiver is the core position which enables all areas of Spa Wellness to thrive. The Spa Inventory Receiver is responsible for receiving all product deliveries, tagging, labeling, and handling and transportation of products to correct locations in a timely manner. The Spa Inventory Receiver possesses an extreme sense of urgency, organization and multi-tasking capabilities in order to successfully support the needs of the Spa Operations Department. This position works both individually and at some times with a team, and is responsible for monitoring loss and damages, and securing fragile and high-risk merchandise. The Spa Inventory Receiver is part of a team which executes outstanding operational excellence while providing a clean and safe environment for all patrons, team members and vendors, and safeguards enterprise assets and guarantees departmental integrity.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities1. Responsible for all organization, delivery and product flow for Spa Operations including: operating supplies, office supplies, guest supplies, professional products, and retail products.
2. Receives deliveries, verifies damages, sorts and tags product for distribution to correct locations; curates orders from Service Center and prepares them for delivery in a specified period for a proactive approach; maintains organized filing records of invoices sent and received.
3. Prepares and recommends par levels to meet needs of each location; keeps current with movement of product per location, storage, and Service Center to keep all inventory levels filled and ready for business needs.
4. Protects enterprise assets by minimizing loss according to enterprise standards, policies and procedures, inventory control and asset protection.
5. Maintains storage cleanliness and health and safety measures. Responsible for positive weekly audits and completion of daily cleaning checklists.
6. Performs other duties as assigned to support efficient operation of Department.
Education/Experience/Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required. Minimum of one (1) year of experience in a warehouse or receiving environment required. Spa or hotel experience a plus. Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel necessary. Experience using an inventory management program, preferred. Ability to work in a challenging environment that can assist in implementing and suggesting improvements to guarantee inventory and receiving accuracy. Internal and external guest service; ability to thrive in a guest centric environment. Certificates/Licenses/Registrations At the discretion of the San Manuel Tribal Gaming Commission you may be required to obtain and maintain a gaming license.
