\nWhat will I be doing?
\nThe Spa Supervisor administers professional Wellbeing, provides professional spa treatments and consultations for guests on Wellness packages, using the standards established by the Brand. Possess a thorough knowledge of numerous Wellbeing modalities. In addition, the Wellness Supervisor is able to train new spa therapist and assists the Assistant Spa Manager in the recruitment, induction, development and appraisal of all spa and Wellness team. Specifically, as Spa Supervisor for Waldorf Astoria Maldives you will perform the following tasks to the highest standards:
\n\n\nMaintain complete knowledge of:
\n(a) Hours of operation and activities
\n(b) Spa & Wellness services and products
\n(c) Scheduled daily group activities and monthly wellness schedule
\n(d) Complete Brand protocol and treatment certification process successfully
\n(e) Promotes and maintains the highest level of customer service to all guests while staying alert to their needs
\n(f) Maintain complete knowledge of, and comply with, departmental policies and procedures
\n(g) Maintain complete knowledge of products used at Spa and equipment used at the Fitness Centre\nAssesses contraindications of guest that may prevent service from taking place\nTo be responsible for motivation of therapists and to report to the Assistant Spa Manager on the ambience of the team at any given time\nTo set an example to all therapists.\nTo be responsible for achieving retail sales targets and therapist performance as set monthly.\nMust adhere to training set down by the Assistant Spa Manager or management.\nTo perform all Spa treatments or Wellbeing classes to the highest standards\nNotify management of all maintenance and guest needs\nActively promote home care programs, wellness classes and meet minimum wellness service sales goals\nHandle guest complaints by following Brand procedures and ensuring guest satisfaction\nMaintain cleanliness of Fitness, Cabanas, Ocean Pavilion and Spa in general – Landscape.\nPerform daily routine set up and regular checking of Fitness Centre, Ocean Pavilion, Garden Relaxation, Cabanas and Back of the House areas.\nAssist with Monthly fitness professional products inventory and handle daily report of fitness\nProvide neat, legible guest information records as required for the Waldorf Astoria guest experience protocols\nPossess ability to work with minimal supervision\nAttend all required meetings and training sessions\nResponsible for helping the Assistant Spa Manager with training and assessment, this will be properly recorded in the relevant areas for all Wellness team members\nTo help with stock control, stock takes and orders as requested by the Assistant Spa Manager\nTo ensure the team maintains the cleanliness and hygiene of Fitness Centre, in accordance with the Health and Safety and Hygiene legislation\nTo be responsible for motivation of Wellness team and to report to the Assistant Spa Manager on the performance of the team\nTo be responsible for achieving Spa and fitness targets and Spa therapist / Fitness /Yoga instructor performance as set monthly\nThe Resort requires that you perform any task deemed necessary by the Director of Spa / Assistant Spa Manager for the efficient running of the Spa Department specifically and the Resort in general\nWhat are we looking for?

\n\nKnowledge of physiology/Yoga or any other wellbeing treatment and classes\nStrong experience in spa treatment training skill\nExperience as a Head Therapist or Wellness, or Spa operation experience role in a resort/hotel.\nRecognized beauty or massage qualification which includes anatomy and physiology module\nMust hold Massage or Wellness license and certification\nKnowledgeable with multi-cultural service protocols and standards.\nStrong leadership skills and ability to operate and successfully arbitrate in a complex international and multicultural environment.\nExcellent guest relations and problem solving skills.\nGood planning and execution skills with ability to be persistent while focusing on detailed elements of tasks.\nExcellent time management, organizational, communication and motivational skills.\nHave impeccable follow-through.\nOrganizes staffing effectively in situations of sudden increases in business volume and other contingencies.\nCandidate must have a good command of spoken and written English.
