As our Space Planner, you will be a part of the team that ensure Nike Stores retail spaces reflect and sustain superior Nike presentation through the development, evaluation and communication of floorplan and assortment strategies.

WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH

In this role, you'll work with our Senior Space Planners to establish clear store plans that create a product segment portfolio grounded in profitability and maximizes individual store performance. Through product layout of space within a store, you will ensure that all new, remodel and current store investments maximize the potential for the brand. Working alongside the design, real estate, construction, gender, product, brand, tech, operations teams and outside vendors, both in Geography and in Global, you will be the responsible for driving cross-function alignment on store layout and space.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

As our Space Planner, you will be a part of the team that ensure Nike Stores retail spaces reflect and sustain superior Nike presentation through the development, evaluation and communication of floorplan and assortment strategies.

1-2 years' work experience which could include retail design/store planning experience, project management (space or retail merchandising), retail visual presentation/merchandising, or retail business planning experience

Working knowledge of Revit, AutoCAD or other design or retail-based systems and programs preferred

Ability to read and understand design briefs, construction documents, engineering drawings and fixture plans

Experience with Microsoft Office, Microsoft project or other project management software

Retail Math, retail and financial experience, understanding and familiarity of retail planning metrics and KPIs

Knowledge and work experience in a vertical corporate retail environment or in store operations is preferred

Detail-oriented and strong multi-tasking skills

Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree and minimum of 2 years directly relevant work experience Note: One of the following alternatives may be accepted: PhD or Law + 1 yr; Masters + 0-3 yrs; Associates degree + 1-3 yrs; High School + 3-5 yrs

WHAT YOU'LL WORK ON

Your work will include analyzing historical data and current trends to identify risks and opportunities by product segment in each store, each season to improve future performance. You'll utilize retail specific software (Revit and AutoCAD) to maintain accurate floorplans that are reflective of product presentation standards and are consistently accessible, archived and updated for Nike Store partners. You'll be accountable for planning, organizing, and prioritizing projects, so goals and objectives are met. You'll be responsible for product capacity validation specific to Nike Store FOH and BOH fixture systems. You will support financial results that maximize sales, inventory and bottom-line profitability at the product level up to the store level. In addition, you'll participate in a team structure that facilitates and maximizes individual and team performance, supporting and fostering an open and inclusive environment that embraces diversity, encourages accountability, and drives toward results.
