Visit orion.arcfield.com for more details. Seeking local student studying aerospace engineering or a related technical field (Aerospace, Mechanical, Structural, Electrical). This intern role will support either the Space Systems Engineering team through design, assembly, integration, and test of space hardware. Participate in the design and development of spacecraft and payload hardware Interface with program management teams to deliver design review content Create and manage technical budgets and requirements Under general supervision, capable of performing all jobs including the most complex. Works on assignments that are semi-routine in nature, but recognizes the need for occasional deviation from accepted practices. Work is checked since errors may cause delay or expense. May assist and train less experienced personnel. High School plus advanced training, and 2 - 3 yrs of experience. Co-Op / Interns typically represent college students trying to gain related work experience while pursuing an undergraduate degree. Under direct supervision, performs various tasks and assignments for the organization's professional staff in such disciplines as Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, Marketing. Qualifications HS 3-4 Years Equal Pay Act This is the projected compensation range for this position. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
