We have an exciting opportunity for a **Spacesuit Knowledge Capture Administrative Specialist** to join the team! Our long-term client relationship with NASA has led to a need for an Administrative Specialist on the Knowledge Capture (KC) Team. The **Spacesuit Knowledge Capture Administrative Specialist** will: + Assist the KC administrator to accomplish the following: + Administer a KC program to capture knowledge from subject matter experts (SME) via short courses, vignettes, forums, or other venues to capture lessons learned, case studies, storytelling, and their perspectives + Arrange event mechanism for internal and external SMEs to present their information + Review and facilitate the development of instructional materials for educational purposes + Communicate educational opportunities within the EVA community and broader as appropriate + Arrange for the KC events to be recorded and archived + Collaborate and coordinate with personnel across the NASA agency to record and archive the KC events permanently. + Prepare KC event material for NASA JSC Export Control review and comply with Export Control policy + Prepare and process the appropriate NASA JSC Export Control forms for Export Control + Coordinate with JSC Legal office to ensure proper documentation (written release) is in place for each individual presenting or being interviewed for a KC event + Lead assessments, evaluations, planning, and implementation of instructional materials + Provide periodic statuses on progress + Maintain records of KC events and their status, photo/video shoots, and Export Control submissions + Prepare support documentation of the KC program's progress, successes, and lessons learned in the form of memos, emails, and conference papers as appropriate + Prepare and conduct surveys to evaluate the success of the KC Program + Coordinate annual inspection and maintenance of the outreach EMU suits + Prepare EZ-Transfer forms for the transfer of property/hardware as needed + Work with division-level staff to coordinate Export Control review for conference abstracts, papers, and presentations. + Assist authors with the Export Control process and work with reviewers to facilitate timely approval + Monitor conference-related Export Control submissions and report regular status updates + Keep attendance records and coordinate with the JSC Human Resources Department for training record purposes as appropriate. + Perform other duties, and support other team members to accomplish objectives as needed. **Requisition Qualifications:** This position has been posted at multiple levels. May require lifting and carrying up to 25 lbs. (5% of time). **Equipment and Machines** Standard office equipment (PC, telephone, printer, etc.). **Attendance** Regular attendance in accordance with established work schedule is critical.
