As part of our dynamic Marketing and Communications team, you’ll contribute to shaping our brand narrative and engaging stakeholders across various platforms.

No wonder, considering they're in charge of media relations, events, digital marketing, and digital communications, with which they shape BCG's image among clients, employees, alumni, and job applicants, as well as the media and general public. Bringing the Group's global thought leadership to the world, they ensure that BCG expertise and studies are placed in the right channel at the right time and continuously develop our communications and marketing strategy.



What You'll Do

As a Marketing and Communications Intern, you’ll contribute to our external communication efforts, gaining hands-on experience in marketing, PR, and social media. You'll help our Marketing and Communications team to use and manage digital marketing tools such as Salesforce and Marketo. You'll design and create graphics and visual content for various marketing materials and write and optimize texts for digital channels. Your tasks will also include supporting B2B mailing campaigns, maintaining CRM data to ensure data quality, and collaborating on the development and implementation of digital marketing strategies.

 

Content Creation
• Assist in drafting concise and engaging content for newsletters, social media, and email campaigns.
• Collaborate on creating marketing materials, such as short-form content and internal updates.
• Support the team in editing and formatting documents to ensure clarity and consistency with branding guidelines.
• Help manage the organization and distribution of marketing assets across platforms.


PR and External Relations
• Assist in drafting press releases and media advisories for key announcements and initiatives.
• Help manage and update media databases to ensure accurate and up-to-date information.
• Monitor and compile press coverage, summarizing insights and identifying opportunities for further outreach.
• Support the team in coordinating media distribution, ensuring timely and accurate dissemination of press materials.
• Collaborate on basic media outreach efforts, including tracking responses and compiling feedback from journalists.

 

Social Media Management:
• Plan, schedule, and monitor content across platforms like LinkedIn, Twitter, and Instagram.
• Draft compelling posts and captions that align with our brand voice and strategic goals.
• Collaborate on the creation of visual assets, including graphics, short videos, and infographics.
• Track and analyze performance metrics to identify trends and improve campaign effectiveness.
• Stay updated on social media trends and tools to propose innovative approaches for audience engagement.


Event Coordination: Support the planning and execution of virtual and in-person events, from logistics to follow-up communication.

 

Database Management: Maintain and update CRM systems, ensuring data accuracy to enhance outreach efforts.

 

Collaborative Projects: Work cross-functionally with internal teams to ensure messaging consistency and creative excellence.

YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS):

 

• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Spanish
• Enrollment in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
• Initial experience in marketing, PR, or content creation (internships or coursework are a plus).
• Proficiency in MS Office tools (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
• Experience with tools like Canva, Figma, Salesforce, Marketo is a plus

Other details:

Must hold university degree, vocational training certificate, or equivalent (provide a photocopy)No more than 3 years since obtaining the degree (5 years for candidates with disabilities). For foreign degrees, the period starts from the date of recognition in Spain.Cannot have worked under a training contract (convenio extracurriculares) in the company for more than 3 months, except for required curricular internships.Must not have worked under an internship contract (contrato en prácticas) for over 1 year at any company (work history/vida laboral required).Must hold a valid work permit for the entire internship period.
