Description We are working with a client who is seeking a Bilingual (Spanish & English) HR Contractor to support their plant management and HR team in the manufacturing industry. This is an on-site contract role that is located in Gaylord, Minnesota. The HR Contractor will be responsible for a variety of tasks including supporting plant production managers, the HR team, and bilingual Spanish/English workforce. Responsibilities: • Conduct new employee orientation and ensure smooth integration of new team members • Handle employee relations, fostering a positive work environment • Carry out employee investigations when required • Participate in HR committees and contribute to their initiatives • Assist employees with leave of absence requests and ensure they are processed accurately • Respond to employee inquiries in a timely manner, ensuring their concerns are addressed • Collaborate with various levels of management and employees to achieve company goals • Understand and utilize HRIS systems for effective HR management • Utilize Microsoft Suite for various HR tasks • Provide a customer service focus, show compassion and support to all employees Requirements • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a human resources role within the manufacturing industry • Ability to speak and write in Spanish fluently • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal • Demonstrated experience in overseeing employee relations • Proficient in handling leave of absence cases and procedures • Strong knowledge of HRIS - Human Resources Information Systems • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint • Proven experience in conducting thorough investigations related to HR matters • Experience in conducting new employee orientations, providing comprehensive introductions to company culture and policies Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
