Job Descriptions: The Spanish Interpreter is responsible for providing translation to support the needs of the non-English speaking community. + Provide accurate and effective translation (oral & written) for non-English speaking patients, families, visitors and staff of PCH to ensure clear and accurate communication of information. + Serve as a liaison to the community and patients to support cultural diversity. + Provide patient service representative duties as applicable. Hours: Varied hours, as needed; Monday-Friday Required Experience: Education, Experience: + High school diploma or equivalent preferred + Minimum 1 year experience with language translation + Fluent in the English and Spanish language + Experience in a healthcare setting, preferred Certificates, Licensure, Registrations: + None Required GENERAL REQUIREMENTS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
