The opportunity
We are seeking a talented Spares Inventory Manager to join our diverse E-7A Wedgetail In Support Services (WISS) team in providing supply chain expertise. We are looking for a motivated individual to be responsible and accountable for Spares Inventory Management and Stock Item Ownership. As well as supporting and working within our team you will have the opportunity to gain exposure and build your professional network as you connect with stakeholders across the Boeing company.
This position plays an essential role in carrying out effective management and resolving issues that prevent inventory and assets from being processed effectively throughout the supply chain. This position requires close collaboration with key stakeholders to ensure supply chain compliance and, ultimately, aircraft availability. This role can be located at RAAF Base Williamtown, NSW, RAAF Base Amberley, QLD or Brisbane QLD.
Responsibilities:
Assist in the management of non-repairable (non-RI) inventory itemsConduct stock analysis, inventory and stock level assessments for the supply chainDevelop and maintain relationships of trust and honesty with all internal and external stakeholders and prime partnersIdentify and resolve customer supply chain issues and discrepanciesTransact within ERP management systems for the execution of Purchasing, Provisioning, Receipt and Dispatch of sparesProvide support to customer enquiries relating to stock availability, system processes and forecast requirementsIdentify and investigate items impacting platform availabilityExperience/Qualifications:
Previous experience in Integrated Logistic fundamentals, such as conducting stock analysis, forecasting requirements and usage assessments, non-RI management within the Defence environmentAbility to work with a high level of autonomy in a fast-paced environmentHigh level written and oral communication and negotiation skills to facilitate open interaction between customer support teams, suppliers and key internal and external stakeholdersDemonstrated experience in identifying, establishing and promoting supply process improvements at the project levelUnderstanding of Airworthiness standards and advanced knowledge of ERP platforms (ORACLE preferred)NV1 security clearance or ability to obtainCompetent in the use of PC, MS Windows and MS Office suitePlease outline in your application your experience and current accesses in Defence logistics management systems.
