The Bulk Acquisitions Underwriter must be a superb communicator. The primary responsibility is for managing the portfolio acquisition process from the moment a deal is engaged until all documents are successfully submitted and the recourse period is over.

Conduct diligence on accounts prior to purchase Analyze risks and opportunitiesCoordinate with dealers and brokers to secure and validate documentsWork with external counsel to ensure federal and state compliance of loan documentsValidate loan amortization prior to purchaseMonitor project progress and handle any issues that ariseProfessionally and timely communicate with all internal and external customersEffectively onboard multiple loan portfolios from multiple dealers simultaneously Assign tasks to internal teams and assist with schedule managementThe ability to effectively organize multiple tasks and open items simultaneouslyCoordinate with several internal and external teams for each transactionExceed company standards for productivity and qualityWill be assigned a variety of projects that will impact the department and/or may include working across several functional areas
Qualifications
Superb verbal and written communication skills; customer service orientation is a mustHigh school diploma, undergraduate degree preferredOutstanding problem solving and decision-making skillsSound business judgment and an ability to learn on the flyAbility to work under pressure and meet deadlinesMust be a self-motivator while actively participating in a team environmentMust have computer skills, including, but not limited to, MS Windows, MS Office, and MS Outlook
Supervisory Responsibility
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Work Environment and Physical Demands
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Normal days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m. Hours may vary and exceed 40+ hours per week depending on business needs. Hours may also be outside normal business hours and on weekends.
Travel
This position may require 5% travel.
