JOB SUMMARY The incumbent will work under the supervision of the Sterile Processing manager; the SPD Shift Leader is responsible for performing all duties related to sterile processing. This person will be accountable for assuring that the work on the shift is done in a timely, efficient, and accurate way. They are a leader in the dept and will assure that the staff completes all required work for that day accurately and in a timely manner. JOB REQUIREMENTS + High school diploma or equivalent required + SPD Certification – HSPA (Healthcare Sterile Processing Association) or CBSPD (Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution) required + 1+ years leadership experience + 3 years of SPD experience preferred + Prior experience in a supervisory position preferred Covenant Health Mission Statement We are a Catholic health ministry, providing healing and care for the whole person, in service to all in our communities.
