Position Summary / Job Purpose:
This position is responsible for providing assistance to RCL crew members in connection with the processing of their documents for deployments to RCL vessels, as well as in providing guidance regarding Tier-1 Crew and Family Welfare information. This position supports the sourcing and crew and family welfare teams of the company.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Crew Members / Applicants Support
• Assists crew members in using the RCL Electronic System
• Assists crew members on RCL processes, i.e., documentation and processing of employment documents, POEA contracts, visa, PEME and other related requirements
• Guides applicants in filling out the electronic data form
• Provides updates to crew members on the status of their documentation requirements
• Performs other duties assigned by the Operations Support Lead
• Sourcing Admin Support
• Provides administrative assistance in making calls, sending emails and text blast to candidates for interview scheduling and CTRAC creation follow up.
• Assist in securing candidate interest on role re-profiling
• Conducts call outs to invite candidates for targeted roles who were not able to attend interview schedules
• Facilitates sending of thank you letters to Philippine candidates who participated in the Open House Recruitment with no CTRAC applications but did not make it, and online disapproval of rejected candidates with CTRAC application.
Candidate Management Support
• Verifies candidate-related documentation, including staffing, recruitment and onboarding • Explains company staffing policies, benefits, and procedures to employees or job applicants
• Examines applicant files to answer inquiries and provide information for action
• Informs job applicants of their acceptance or rejection of employment
• Liaises with various Human Resources Shared Services representatives when appropriate, to ensure all hiring arrangement are correct Crew and Family Welfare Support
• Attends to crew concern regarding their government contribution and benefits.
• Provides Sea Service and Government Contribution Certificate requests from crew members.
• Accommodates basic inquiry regarding allotment.
• Attends to basic inquiry of crew members in the CFW Inbox.
Education, Experience, Knowledge & Skills:
At least 2 years of experience in document handling and customer support Knowledge and background of the Maritime Industry
Knowledge of the Maritime Industry Excellent English Communication skills (written and oral)
Knowledge in the use of computers and software applications Strong interpersonal skills.
