Job Description:
L3Harris is seeking Specialist, Systems Engineering, RC-135 Computer Systems Administrator (CSA) for our location at Offutt AFB, Nebraska, supporting the USAF’s RC-135 mission aircraft and its related ground support systems.
Essential Functions:
+ Provide support for all RC-135 aircraft operational and ground training missions by managing mission software loads.
+ Conduct prep/recoveries of all missions by loading/extracting critical data for customer use.
+ Provide Ground Data Processing System (GDPS) operations support, data import/export operations and mission data archiving.
+ Perform hardware and software malfunction isolation, and configuration for special operations modes and testing as required.
+ Manage GDPS daily operations and make recommendations to correct system anomalies.
+ Responsible for GDPS database and software configuration control, and account management/controls.
+ Familiarity with LINUX and UNIX-based operating systems and Oracle databases.
+ Programming experience with Linux shell scripting, MySQL, PHP, Perl, Java and HTML.
+ Knowledge and experience with the current RC-135 mission systems or equivalent platform or systems.
+ Willing and able to travel up to 30% worldwide deployable.
+ Must be able to work various shifts, mission dependent.
+ Ability to move up to 50 lbs. up to 5% of the time.
+ Ascend/descend ladders up to 5% of the time.
+ Other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
Qualifications:
+ Bachelor’s Degree with four (4) years of prior computer hardware and software theory, operations, and sustainment experience.
+ Graduate Degree with two (2) years of prior computer hardware and software theory, operations, and sustainment experience.
+ In lieu of a degree, a minimum of eight (8) years of prior computer hardware and software theory, operations, and sustainment experience.
+ Must have an active Secret Clearance at the time of hire with the ability to obtain Top Secret with SCI Security Clearance and CI polygraph within the first year.
+ Must be able to successfully obtain COMPTIA Security + certification or higher within six months.
+ Must be a US Citizen.
Preferred Additional Skills:
+ IT/Cyber experience and/or associated degree.
+ Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA).
+ CompTIA Network+ or Security+ certification.
+ Active Top Secret/SCI clearance.
