Anticipated duties include:
Providing high-level professional support in administration, operations, and management of a wide variety of pan-University projects.Assisting in planning, executing, and monitoring projects, including taking a lead role in creating timelines, identifying milestones and deliverables, anticipating needs, and managing to deadlines.Performing research on special projects or decisions, involving policies and practices, both within UVA and other institutions, consulting with provost office staff and with other offices across Grounds.Monitoring project budgets that are maintained by individual projects or by the provost office financial team.Planning, leading, and facilitating project team meetings, including the collaborative development of meeting agendas and materials.Ensuring that information about projects is collected, synthesized, and prepared for briefings, presentations, and reports.Assisting with project communications, including drafting internal communications, briefings, and reports and working with communications staff to provide content and guidance on strategy.Serving as a liaison and facilitator between project leaders and other administrative offices.Collaborating with colleagues within the Provost’s Office and across Grounds.In addition to the above job responsibilities, other duties may be assigned.
Minimum Requirements
Education: Bachelor's degree.Experience: At least four years of relevant experience or Master's degree with at least one year of relevant experience. Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.Must be comfortable working on a broad array of projects at various stages of development; have excellent writing skills; the ability to be resourceful, prioritize requests, and take initiative when appropriate; experience managing projects; proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and adaptability to new technologies; and prior experience working in an executive-level setting, preferably at a higher education institution.Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree with at least seven years of relevant experience or a Master's degree with at least two years of relevant experience.

The anticipated start date is January, 2025. Anticipated Hiring Range: $85,000.00 - $105,000.00, commensurate with education and experience. This is an exempt level, benefited position.

This is primarily a sedentary job involving extensive use of desktop computers. The job does occasionally require traveling some distance to attend meetings, and programs.
