+ Provide mental health services to students within the school setting, such as individual and group sessions and consultations with teachers and other staff.
+ Supports students and families to promote academic, social, and emotional growth.
+ Coordinate and communicate about services with families and outside providers (such as targeted case managers, therapists, probation officers, Department of Health and Human Services, police, crisis workers, and staff from other districts).
+ Complete required Special Education documentation, treatment notes, and billing.
+ Attend Individualized Educational Program meetings and team meetings as required.
Full Job Description (https://www.biddefordschools.me/page/job-descriptions-district) Certification/License:Current State of Maine Licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Master Social Worker-Conditional Clinical (LMSW-CC), Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) or Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor Conditional license (LCPC-c) Criminal History Record Check (CHRC), which includes Fingerprints on file with the Maine Department of Education Education: Completion of a master's level program in social work or clinical counseling.Experience:
+ Experience in clinical treatment of children and adolescents.
+ Excellent skills in communicating and collaborating with staff.
+ Knowledge of education policies and procedures.
+ Understand the RTI process.
