Position Overview:  Develop and implement tailored educational plans (IEPs) for students with diverse learning needs, ensuring goals and accommodations are met. Provide an adaptive curriculum using unique teaching methods to meet the specific academic and social-emotional needs of students across elementary and middle school grades. Collaborate with school staff and parents to build a supportive learning environment and provide consistent communication regarding student progress. Create a structured and positive classroom environment, utilizing effective behavior management strategies to support student engagement and success.

Qualifications: 

Bachelor's Degree (Required) NYS Students with Disabilities for All Special Education Teachers Certification (Required) Special education experience: 3 years (Preferred) Proven ability to be proactive and highly engaged in the classroom Exceptional communication skills with both students and colleagues
