A multi-disciplinary team, including the individual’s parent(s) or guardian, regularly reviews the plan to discuss challenges, progress and adjustments to goals as appropriate. A primary focus throughout the program is the philosophy of Program-Wide Positive Behavior Intervention and Support (PW-PBIS), a program-wide system of care that promotes and rewards positive behaviors, and prevents negative behaviors, to create safe, supportive living environments.

Qualifications
EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree and an active Special Education Instructional I or II Pennsylvania teacher certification or eligible for Pennsylvania Special Education Instructional I certification. Emergency certification available.
EXPERIENCE: Special Education Teacher experience preferred.
