Employment Type: Permanent Faculty Vacancy ID: FAC0005177 Salary Range: Dependent on qualifications Position Summary/Description: The School of Education at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill invites applications for a position in special education at the K-12 level with an emphasis on high incidence disabilities starting July 1, 2025. This is a full-time, 9-month tenure-line or tenured appointment depending on rank at the time of hire. Candidates will carry out a research program related to special education and K-12 teacher education, actively pursue external funding, and contribute to collaborative and interdisciplinary research and instructional efforts across the School of Education and campus. Candidates also will (a) develop and teach undergraduate and graduate courses in special education and related areas, including pre-service teacher education; (b) contribute to the ongoing development of undergraduate and graduate programs; © actively recruit and supervise graduate students; (d) support strategic initiatives across the School and campus; and (e) provide leadership and service at the local, state, and national levels.
