Description
Park Inc Is looking for Special Event Parking Ambassadors to work at our client location in Albany, NY. This is a part-time position working 3-5 days per month. Hours are typically evening and weekends. Pay is $17 per hour.
The Special Event Parking Ambassador is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of our customers parking area by directing traffic and collecting parking fees electronically. No Cash.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES:
+ Maintain strong working relationship with customer account and contacts at special events by establishing strong customer relations.
+ Greet and direct guests in a friendly professional manner.
+ Safely guide guests to the appropriate parking areas.
+ Sell parking spaces and collect payment electronically for special events.
+ Secure parking area before, during, and after event.
+ Assist guests with directional information including entrances to venue.
+ Perform other duties as required.

Qualifications
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
+ High school diploma or equivalent required.
+ A minimum of 1-year previous experience working in a fast paced and dynamic work environment in the hospitality or customer service industry.
+ Excellent verbal communication skills.
+ Strong computer and technical skills including Excel, Word, Outlook.
+ Familiarity with hand-held devices to collect payments.
+ Ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects or tasks.
+ Detail oriented and able to make sound decisions within assigned deadlines.
+ Ability to work outdoors with exposure to extreme weather conditions.
+ Strong customer service skills with proven positive results.
+ Strong sense of urgency; demonstrate stable and punctual work history.
+ Must be at least 18 years of age.
+ Schedule includes evenings, weekends, and holidays.
+ Ability to stand for long periods of time.
