Job Description Summary
Assists Special Events Manager in the creation, development, implementation and execution of all major events for the Agua Caliente Band of Cahuilla Indians Tribal Government, Agua Caliente Cultural Museum and Tribal Government sponsored Tribal Membership events. Provides additional support as needed to the Tribal Administration team.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities (other duties may be assigned)
Work with Special Events Manager with the planning and execution off all ACBCI charitable fund-raising events including The Agua Caliente Charity Golf Tournament, Richard M. Milanovich Legacy Hike, and the Dinner in the Canyons. Assist in the planning and facilitate logistics for all events, including contract negotiations, guest lists, venue preparation, presentation materials, security, catering, entertainment, transportation, equipment, decor, and marketing materials Prepare and disseminate event related information to appropriate departments, vendors, and others in a clear, concise, and timely manner Conduct research, assemble and analyze data to prepare reports and documents Independently perform department level projects as assigned Prepare responses to correspondence containing routine inquiries; prepare and edit correspondence, communications, presentations and other documents Type, proofread and process a variety of documents including general correspondence, reports, letters, memoranda, and invoices; prepare spreadsheets in excel and forms from rough drafts or verbal instruction as assigned.
