If this is you, consider this role setting up and driving for our experiential marketing activities with AAA.
What You Will Do
Support internal and external events which can include attending planning meetings, pre-planning documents, packing lists, event layouts, trip planning and implementation as well as asset management and loading
Event execution (team training, troubleshooting and reporting)
On site attendance and quality control to ensure a successful event
Execute timely set up and break down for all internal and external events.
Work with event contacts to ensure each event is compliant with all permits; conduct pre-event space review or venue checks as required.
Proactively handle any arising issues and troubleshoot any emerging programs on the event day using problem-solving skills and event experience
Some inter-state and out-of-state travel will be required
Drive as needed on behalf of employer/Handle display vehicle transportation and provide on-site operational support
Provide event guidance in the absence of management
Demonstrate internal and external customer service
Maintain and clean assets, vehicles and trailers
Schedule maintenance for vehicles and trailers as well as maintain maintenance and testing logs.
Organize and audit all Club-owned assets and inventory
Comply with all applicable laws/regulations, as well as company policies/procedures
Perform other duties as required
Manage and communicate to Event Management all necessary purchases
Works collaboratively with team and other business units.
Capture branded event photos.
What You Will Need
Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in various experiential event operations role
CPR, First Aid, and Fire Extinguisher Training/Certification preferred
Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) - based on hiring standards required along with minimum limits of automobile liability insurance
Strong analytical skills
Budgeting skills (expense reimbursement and asset purchases)
Vehicle/Trailer repair knowledge a plus
Great communication and problem-solving skills
Microsoft Office experience
Ability to work independently and/or as a team member
High school diploma, GED or equivalent certification
Availability to work a 40-hour work week, including potential non-standard business hours; including nights, weekends and holidays for events
Ability to lift/carry hand freight weighing up to 75 pounds several times a week
Ability to sit for extended periods of time, bend, twist, squat, climb in and out of truck
Ability to follow instructions and complete required training
