Job Description Insight Global is seeking a Special Inspector that will be working on major project sites in the Kansas City area. This individual will be working in the field doing inspections on asphalt, concrete, soil, rebar foundations, aggregates, base rocks, etc. A high level of communication skills will be expected, as they will be collaborating with everyone involved in a project, including engineers, architects, superintendents, and laborers. Performs a variety of testing, project-specific observations, and site assessment duties under the direct supervision and/or from detailed controlled procedures. Operates testing equipment and conducts testing, (example: soil, concrete, or other) and provides an assessment of data through reporting Works utilizing drawings, specifications, and diagrams Uses specific methods to observe site activities and perform tasks Make detailed observations and gives an interpretation of results Maintains detailed documentation and data from test results Communicates effectively with client and project teams We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
