Special Order Account Representative-Staples Promotional Products

While you may know Staples as the world’s leading office supply company, Staples Promotional Products – a division of Staples – is a national leader in the promotional products and apparel industry and manufacturer and supplier of customer identified caps, garments, and advertising specialty items. **What you’ll be doing:** Responsible for managing projects for customers’ accounts to present promotional products and event solutions. Provide excellent customer service by collaborating with Sales Representative and/or customers directly to develop product offering. Excel in a fast-paced, attention to detail environment negotiating with vendors, generating quotes and executing orders. **Primary Duties and Responsibilities** **:** + Professionally communicate both verbally and written. + Utilize project management skills to coordinate multiple projects at one time. + Organize daily tasks to meet crucial deadlines and customer service level agreements. + Attention to detail and multi-tasking are essential. + Manage complex projects which may include multiple destination shipments, + kitting/fulfillment, and rush orders. + Anticipate customer needs by understanding account history. + Ability to problem solve issues with orders to provide the best possible solution to customers + Prepare quotes and process orders through the order entry process + Create product ideation by sourcing from approved suppliers, researching industry trends and working with internal marketing and merchandising teams. + Build relationships with internal teams to provide exceptional customer experience. + Collaborate with assigned sales rep(s) on key projects with frequent communication and gain alignment on roles and responsibilities + Partner with finance team to facilitate the billing process and settle billing resolutions. + May be invited to SPP’s annual National Sales Meetings to explore new product offerings, keep up to date on trends and network with vendors **What you bring to the table** + Excellent communication skills and building customer relationships. + Organizational skills with capacity to manage multiple projects simultaneously. + Promotional Products merchandising knowledge + Purchasing product and vendor negotiation experience + Proficiency of Microsoft programs (Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint) and industry experience with ESP or Sage **What’s needed- Basic Qualifications** + 2+ years of customer service experience + 2+ years of project management **We Offer:** + Inclusive culture with associate-led Business Resource Groups + 112 Hours of PTO and Holiday Schedule (7 observed paid holidays + 1 floating holiday) + Online and Retail Discounts, Company Match 401(k), Physical and Mental Health Wellness programs, and more! perks and benefits _!_ Staples is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
