Special Order Clerk

Process store requests on items sourced from factories or O'Reilly distribution centers.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Create, develop, and maintain good customer and team member relations.

Process part requests by calling factories or researching web sites. 

Relay information back to the store via computer or phone.

Review various computer programs for factory requirements, standard packaging, dollar minimums, shipping requirements, etc.

Figure and quote merchandise selling price, store price, freight charges, etc. by using computer, factory quotes, and company percentages.

Answer phone calls from stores and factories.

SKILLS/EDUCATION/KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE/ABILITIES

Required:

Good interpersonal skills.

Good written and oral communication skills.

Good aptitude for dealing with number sequences.

Calculator skills.

Must be able to work as a team.

Desired: 

Experience with O'Reilly/Ozark departments, stores, paperwork, and computer programs.

Personal computer skills.

Bilingual.

Automotive knowledge.
