What You'll Do:
Operates all radiographic equipment in the Cardiac Cath Lab and Electrophysiology Department at a technical level, under the direction of a Cardiologist
Perform scrub assist role during Cath/EP procedures
Assist in providing optimum care for patients undergoing procedures
Record information and evaluate patient responses to procedures
Where You'll Be:
The Cardiac Cath Lab and Electrophysiology Department includes three labs and a hybrid OR staffed by Nurses and Special Procedures Technologists. Nurses and Special Procedures Technologists assist in various procedures including heart catheterizations, electrophysiology studies with catheter/pulmonary vein ablations, pulmonary embolism thrombectomies, device implantations, and other Cardiovascular procedures.
What You'll Need:
Graduate of an AMA approved Radiological Technology Program
Current A.R.R.T. Certificate in General Radiology
Current Indiana Radiation License
BLS for Healthcare Provider (Required, will provide training)
Minimum two years experience in clinical hospital setting
One year vascular or cardiovascular lab experience (Preferred)
Current knowledge of working under aseptic techniques and catheter manipulation (Preferred)
