Special Project Trainer
**Overview** The **Special Project Trainer** is responsible for the implementation and training of Special Projects and Initiatives under the guidance of the Manager, Special Project. The Special Project Trainer will conduct in person and virtual training support for Special Projects and Initiatives within the organization including but not limited to, the conversion of Practice Management Systems (PMS) in the Affordable Care Network, SWAT, Onboarding and Office Manager Trainings. This position reports to the Manager, Special Project and partners with Practice Owners and their team, Operations, Marketing, Human Resources, Information Technology and other departments to accomplish these goals. **Skills Set:** + Highly skilled communicator that can flex leadership and communication style dependent on the audience + Ability to develop and maintain effective training processes + Possesses high emotional intelligence and strong self-awareness to manage different personas and characters + Possesses effective time-management skills and are self-accountable to delivering results + Possesses strong working knowledge of all ACI’s Practice Management Systems (PMS), insurance processes and clinical systems and processes **Responsibilities** **Key Responsibilities:** + Conduct and oversee Special Projects, including but not limited to, Practice Management Conversions, SWAT, Office Manager Trainings, other special projects and initiatives as determined by the business needs of the organization + Identify all aspects of workflow and culture within a practice identified to convert PMS + Develop a training plan and practice schedule based on the individual needs of the trainees and partner with the necessary departments to coordinate support + Maintain ongoing communication with trainees to identify additional needs while ensuring communication of those needs to the Special Project Manager to ensure continued support + Maintain ongoing communication with the practice to identify additional needs as the practice gets comfortable in the new PMS while ensuring communication of those needs to the Manager, Special Project to ensure continued support for the practice + Reassess after the completion of each training or conversion to mitigate foreseeable issues in the future + Participate in Change Control meetings as needed alongside the Manager, Special Project with upper management and Compliance to continually develop and support the ACI network of practices + Acts as a positive and effective liaison between the trainees, practices and other departments within the ACI network to champion corporate initiatives **Additional Responsibilities:** + Additional duties and responsibilities as assigned **Qualifications** **Qualifications** **:** + Ability to travel weekly to any one of our affiliated dental practices in your assigned region for multiple consecutive days- 75% overnight travel (Sunday – Friday) required + Extensive experience with Dentrix and Eaglesoft Practice Management Software + Experience with dentures and dental implants + Experience in Treatment Planning and Presenting Treatment Plans to support Case Acceptance + Must understand compliance with state dental practice requirements (i.e., X-ray requirements, OSHA training, Cone Beam Imaging etc.) + Experience with Dental Insurance and/or Medical Insurance + Excellent professional, interpersonal, and customer service skills + Ability to interact effectively and professionally with individuals at all levels + Detail-oriented, ability to multitask + Strong work ethic + Able to operate independently + Great attitude and interpersonal skills + Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills + Excellent organization, planning, judgment, and time management skills + Highly Collaborative - Can effectively work as part of a team and work with others across the organization to achieve a common goal **Education and Experience:** + Associates Degree or equivalent work experience.
