Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organisation:
As Account Manager for NSW & ACT you will ensure profitable market share and net sales growth through implementing specific product and brand direction. You will lead sell–in and sell-through for all adidas Golf products, excelling in merchandising and planning to achieve profitable growth across all external partners. The ideal candidate has strong strategic planning and financial acumen, creative ideas for sales engagement for customers of all sizes and a deep analytic background while delivering outstanding performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Using strong business acumen to drive the top and bottom-line number and deliver market share gains. Drive account growth and profitability by assessing and building on areas of momentum; capitalise on product/pricing opportunities and course correct with innovative sales tactics to improve sales performance with account in partnership with Sales Planning. Develop short- and long-term strategic plan in conjunction with the account; leveraging account insight and goals, market and competitor insights, to achieve sales targets and align with brand and category objectives. Develop and maintain strong relationships with all internal departments and assigned accounts. Deliver on time reporting and forecasting for all required reports and documents to appropriate parties. Continuous monitoring of order book including supporting cost effective and reliable delivery to the account. Analyse & Grow existing account base to meet future growth targets through distribution growth. Measure progress on KPI’s Manage, track, and resolve customer compliance/account operations issues Execute instore training and having the ability to invest significant time to build a strong rapport with all stores within your assigned territory.

Requisite Education & Experience / Minimum Qualifications:
Field sales experience, within a consumer goods company in the sporting goods/fashion industry. The equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted.
