Job Description:

This position combines the individual’s technical knowledge and analytical skills to support UPS operations through providing safe and reliable material handling equipment and facilities and ensuring environmental compliance. The Buildings and Systems Engineering Specialist will be performing the following tasks:

Maintenance of conveyor equipment and buildingsInvestigating root causes for conveyor performance issues using system analysis tools. Troubleshooting, calibrating, analyzing, and adjusting Conveyor Systems as necessary to maintain optimal performance. Communicating with the Buildings and Systems Engineering Supervisor and Operations Management to reduce system defects and equipment downtimeResponding to calls and breakdowns related to conveyor system components and expediting their completionDispatching of field-support vendors/mechanics to conduct regular PMI.Reviewing Daily Equipment Condition Reports; Dispatching vendors/mechanics to rectify Conveyor and Building issuesParts ordering and inventory maintenanceAssist the Supervisor with project management tasks related to the installation of conveyor equipment and facility modifications, supervise contractors, holding them accountable to fulfilling the scope of the contractManage budget to ensure project scope is completed without exceeding approved fundsPrepare estimates and drawings for facility and equipment layoutsPrepare justifications for appropriations of funds for projectsPrepare bid documents and contracts for construction, procurement, and installationFairly bid and award contracts for projectsAssist the Supervisor with Facility Safety and Environmental Programs complianceImplement programs by assessing needs and creating documentsTrain local staff in compliance requirementsAudit Facility Safety and Environmental programs for complianceImplement corrective actions for identified deficienciesAssist the Supervisor with Facility Housekeeping Tasks.Directly or support others in oversight of housekeeping contractorsCreate detailed bid packages for housekeeping contractsFairly and openly bid and award contracts for housekeeping

Qualifications:

Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering/Electrical Engineering/Civil Engineering/Construction Management or similar relevant disciplineExcellent communication skills. Proficient in both spoken and written English and Korean.Proficient in Microsoft Office applications i.e., Word, Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint, etc.Working knowledge of AutoCAD1 year experience minimum, 3 years preferred in conveyor system installations OR maintenance management.Able to work in a fast-paced, warehouse settingResults and detail orientedSense of urgencyFlexibility to accommodate changing shift timeCapable of lifting up to 32kg unassistedAbility to read and interpret electrical schematics and elementary diagrams is an assetKnowledge of PLC’s and electrical controls is an assetExperience with IBM Maximo, Coupa, and Oracle software is an assetArticulating-boom lift, scissor lift, and forklift experience is an asset

컨베이어장비및건물유지보수시스템 분석 도구를 사용하여 컨베이어 기능 문제 원인을 조사합니다. 최적의 성능을 유지에 필요 한 컨베이어 시스템을 문제 해결, 교정, 분석 및 조정합니다. 시설 및 시스템 엔지니어링 감독자 및 운영 관리자와 소통하여 시스템 결함으로 인하여 가동이 중단되지 않도록 합니다.컨베이어 시스템 문제로 인한 긴급 호출에 대응하고 신속하게 수리할 수 있도록 처리합니다.정기적인 점검(PMI)을 수행하도록 현장에 업체 혹은 정비사를 파견하여 관리합니다.일일 장비 상태 보고서를 검토하고 컨베이어 및 시설 문제 해결을 위해 업체 혹은 정비사를 파견합니다.컨베이어 부품을 주문하고, 스페어 부품 재고 관리를 수행합니다.감독자를도와컨베이어장비설치및시설변경과관련된프로젝트관리업무를수행하고, 계약자가 계약 내용을이행하도록감독합니다.프로젝트 비용을 관리하여 승인된 자금을 초과하지 않고 프로젝트 범위를 완료합니다.시설 및 장비 배치에 대한 도면 및 예산을 작성합니다.프로젝트 예산에 대한 타당성 자료를 준비합니다.건설, 조달 및 설치에 대한 입찰 문서 및 계약을 준비합니다.프로젝트에 대한 계약을 공정하게 입찰하고 발주합니다.감독자를도와시설안전및환경 규칙을 준수하도록관리합니다.현황을 평가하고 문서화하여 규칙을 실행하도록 구현합니다.현장 직원에게 규정 준수 요구 사항을 교육합니다.시설 안전 및 환경 규칙 준수 여부에 대해 정기적인 감사를 수행합니다.확인된 결함의 원인을 파악하고, 시정 합니다.감독자를도와시설 환경 미화 작업을관리합니다.시설 관리 및 청소 계약자 감독을 직접 또는 다른 사람을 지원하여 수행합니다.시설 관리 및 청소 계약에 대한 세부 입찰 패키지를 작성합니다.시설 관리 및 청소 계약을 공정하고 투명하게 입찰하고 수주합니다.

자격요건:

기계 공학/전기 공학/토목 공학/건설 관리 또는 유사 관련 분야 학사 학위뛰어난 의사 소통 능력. 영어 및 한국어 구사 능력 (쓰기 및 말하기 모두 능숙)Microsoft Office 응용 프로그램 (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint 등) 능숙AutoCAD 사용 경험컨베이어 시스템 설치 또는 유지보수 관리 분야 최소 1년 경력, 3년 경력 우대빠르게 변화하고, 창고형 사무실에서도 근무 가능세부 사항을 검토하고, 결과 중심적인 사고업무의 긴급성을 인지하는 사고근무 시간 변경에 대한 유연함혼자서 최대 32kg까지 들어올릴 수 있어야 함전기 회로도 및 기본 도면을 읽고 해석하는 능력 우대PLC 및 전기 제어 관련 지식 우대IBM Maximo, Coupa 및 Oracle 소프트웨어 사용 경험 우대굴절 붐 리프트, 시저 리프트 및 지게차 경험 우대
