SPECIALIST, BUSINESS PROCESS MANAGEMENT

Wealth Management is excited to be on a transformation journey which will shift the way we operate in the future.  Aligning to this vision, an Operations Liaison Team is being formed to help ensure strong collaboration across teams supporting Wealth Management.  This group will focus on ensuring optimization, efficiency and operating model initiatives are resulting in expected improvements and streamlining of services as agreed in the service descriptions between wealth and operations.  This is an exciting time for Wealth Management as we strive to provide the gold standard for our clients.   We are seeking strong candidates who can help bring this vision to life.

Specialist, Business Process Management Major Duties:

1. Seasoned multi-disciplinary expert with extensive technical and / or business knowledge and functional expertise across Asset Servicing functions serving Wealth Management. 

2. Executes on strategic direction of business function activities across the Wealth Management Office of the COO.  

3. Carries out complex initiatives involving multiple disciplines and/or ambiguous issues, resolving operational and functional problems.  

4. Displays a balanced, cross-functional perspective, liaising with the business to improve efficiency, effectiveness and productivity.

5. Creates, maintains and measures performance against service descriptions for operations supporting Wealth Management. 

6. Creates and maintains issue logs between operations and Wealth Management.

The successful candidate will benefit from having the following competencies:

Excellent oral and written communication skills

In-depth Functional / Industry Knowledge of financial industry operations, preferably across Asset Servicing and Wealth Management

Highly flexible and adaptable to change

Demonstrated leadership and organizational skills

Relationship building and client servicing

Negotiation skills, demonstrated experience of cross-disciplinary, cross-hierarchy collaboration

Project management experience

Exposure to metrics management

Experience:

Seasoned expert with extensive technical and business knowledge and functional expertise that has been developed over 15+ years and/or equivalent experience.
