Position Summary

This role is responsible for front-line cyber security defenses.  This includes administration of security tools, triaging security alerts, and performing Tier 1-2 incident response tasks.  This role may also guide junior IR Team members with responses to security-related requests from Cboe associates. 

Responsibilities: 

• Monitor and triage SOAR/UEBA platform incidents using automated playbooks; collect and  

analyze system and network logs to perform second-level analysis of suspicious events. 

• Guide junior Cboe IR Team members during incident investigation and remediation activities 

• Update security process and tool documentation 

• Automate routine security tasks using scripting tools 

• Update security tool protection policies 

• Write incident reports and present findings to team 

• Produces and updates security metrics reports 

• May support physical security systems, badge management 

• Participate in daily briefing meeting 

Requirements: 

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Security or related is preferred 

Graduate Degree such as MBA focusing on Technology or Risk or any related discipline is a plus 

Preferably  has the following certifications: CISSP, CISM, CRISC 

At least three (3) years of experience in coaching/leadership of a technical team 

At least five (5) years relevant experience, dedicated in Security Incident Response and Threat Analysis 

At least two (2) years of Software Development or IT Admin experience on multiple platforms with strong focus on security configuration. 

At least three (3) years of experience working with international clients 

Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills  

Excellent command of the English language in a corporate setting, both verbal and written 

Basic knowledge of stock markets, electronic trading and financial instruments is a plus 

Highly analytical and disciplined in problem-solving.
