Specialist, Domestic System Performance and Analysis - Revenue Management
How you'll help us Keep Climbing (overview & key responsibilities) Are you an experienced revenue manager, network planner, or airline analyst who enjoys thinking about the big picture of an airline's route network and its impact on pricing, looking for patterns and insights in data, or making a big impact through large scale initiatives? Then join us on the Domestic System Performance & Analysis team at Delta! We are a high impact team that advises strategic pricing opportunities for our domestic network at an entity level rather than at an individual route level. We perform high-level pricing analyses leading to initiatives for the broader domestic pricing team, lead our premium cabin pricing strategies, and collaborate with Sales on discount strategies for corporate partners (e.g. Amazon, Coca-Cola, etc.) as well as other unpublished programs. + Responsibilities of the role span all these areas but will have primary focus over performance analysis and/or product strategy. This will entail: + Quickly diagnosing Domestic entity-wide performance pressures, finding opportunities to improve revenue, and summarizing results for the pricing team and leadership + Lead system-level First Class/Comfort+/Refundable/BE product strategies and advise team on performance trends/insights + Setting optimal pricing goal ranges for each of our domestic markets via our Commercial Intent market categorization process This area of our team is an exciting place to be in Domestic Pricing as we help inform large scale pricing decisions with large revenue consequences. The analyses we do are also consumed by upper pricing leadership, making the work highly visible and impactful. What you need to succeed (minimum qualifications) + 2-3 years of experience in airline pricing, inventory, network planning, or analytics role + Ability to accurately query, join, and manipulate large data sets using some or all of: SQL/SAS/Hyperion/Tableau + Must seek complex, analytical work and be able to balance multiple priorities + Excellent written and verbal communication, with strong attention to detail + Must be performing satisfactorily in current position + Consistently prioritizes safety and security of self, others, and personal data + Embraces diverse people, thinking, and styles + Possesses a high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency + Is at least 18 years of age and has authorization to work in the United States What will give you a competitive edge (preferred qualifications) + Experience building documents and presentations for executive leadership + Proven understanding of Delta’s commercial data sources (RPAD, FPS, DDS, FMS, etc.) Benefits and Perks to Help You Keep Climbing Our culture is rooted in a shared dedication to living our values – Care, Integrity, Resilience, Servant Leadership, and Teamwork – every day, in everything we do.
