Job Responsibilities

Ensure the maintenance, improve, and develop the existing Integrated Management System.Ensure compliance the legal requirements related to Health, Safety and Environment in plant.Ensure control system of suppliers on LM HSE requirements.Investigate the main causes of accident, analyze them, and propose action plans.Ensure daily feedback of accidents is provided to the production teams as per the LMPS visual management module.Report of HSE data (intranet, regional, management...) Person in charge to manage the maintenance of certification ISO 14001, ISO 45001 & Other ISO standard requirements. Completion of formalities with the mutual of work accidents as regards the health surveillance.Ensuring objectives for HSE function & CFTLiasoning with KSPCB, CPCB & other authorities & institutions Prepare & drive sustenance reports/ statistics on HSE status in plant.Performing safety risk assessment (SRA) across various projects/ activities Coordinate internal audits and represent of the department to external audits.Comply with and enforce the regulations that HR have established on matters of HR. Promote HSE consciousness among workers.Support plant personnel in selection of appropriate personal protective equipment.Lead the Safety Committee, safety issues resolution in consultation with CFT, Conducting Emergency Rescue Mock Drills as per Regulatory Compliance requirements., Other HSE events – promotional activities Provide input to the daily Production Meeting and communicate production status and flag critical issues that need additional support.Drive, Set targets and priorities in accordance with plant 6S targetsDrive sustainability , waste initiatives in accordance with latest legal applicabilityAdapting & driving lean principles wherever applicable in routine worksProvide input data for regional HSE function.Identify company Safety training needs and develop, coordinate training programs if reqd. with Cross functions. Hands on Experience in GENSUITE Application: & other GE digital tool application handling 

Communication skill 

Verbal and written proficiency in English Verbal and written proficiency in Kannada (to be able to collaborate with Shopfloor employees + external stakeholders including Govt. authorities

Education qualification / professional experience

Bachelor’s in Environmental Engineering with 5 – 8 years of working experience in the field of EHS / HSE / sustainability in a manufacturing set-up
