Specialist, Functional Cost Analyst
Job Title: Specialist, Functional Cost Analyst Job Code: 20154 Job Location: Remote - Within commuting distance of Salt Lake City, UT Job Schedule: 9/80, 1st shift Job Description: Our team supports the functional groups with financial Earned Value Analysis. The Operations Finance Analysts utilizes the Earned Value Tool, Cobra, along with additional tools available in Operations to provide analysis to the Operation Program Managers and the Operations Division Managers. Essential Functions: + Analyze EVMS data/reports within supporting functional and business area + Support the CAMs and their mangers on ad hoc reporting requests. + Provide analysis on labor and material commitments at a program level + Conduct monthly meetings with Operations Division Managers to review division financials in their business areas + Respond timely to Manager on requests and follow through with solutions and results + Interface with all levels within the organization and provide support to other BCS financial operations, as required. + Focus on accuracy, timeliness, and submitting the best products to our customers. + Provide Earned Value reporting to other organizations such as Engineering and Government Property + Ability to come into the office 1 day per week. Basic Qualifications: + Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 8 years of prior program finance experience. Preferred Additional Skills: + 4+ years’ experience as a Financial Analyst, cost Analyst, and/or Budget Analyst + Advance experience with Excel and other MS Office tools + Hands on experience with Earned Value and EVMS highly desired. + Hands on experience with SAP + Strong written and verbal communication skills + Experience with Defense contractor accounting and finance process and procedures In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role is $61,500 - $121,500. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
