Position Summary

Energizer is seeking an experienced and motivated Specialist, Immigration and Contract Management, to join the Legal Department, reporting to the Associate General Counsel, Global Products Supply, Operations, and Human Resources. This is a unique opportunity for a dynamic professional looking to join a fast-paced team and have an impact across multiple areas of responsibility.
Responsibilities
This role will be the primary contact for Immigration matters and will assist in day-to-day administration of the Contract Lifecycle Management system. The Specialist will also provide paralegal support for Labor and Employment, Procurement, Real Estate, and Data Privacy matters. This position is expected to be a key business partner and to contribute to the success of the Company by combining both legal and business expertise to understand Energizer’s operations and strategic goals and deliver solutions to help the organization achieve those goals.
The Specialist will be expected to work effectively across internal legal and non-legal functions. This role requires a mature individual who can fight fires as needed and provide practical guidance that supports business objectives. While much of this Specialist’s time will be spent on immigration and contract management work, this role will also be expected to assist in other areas.
**Immigration Duties:**
+ Assist with applications for visas, work permits and permanent residency, including gathering necessary documentation and completing paperwork
+ Act as a liaison between employees, managers, Human Resources, Global Mobility, outside counsel and immigration vendors; coordinate with immigration authorities
+ Provide guidance and make recommendations on options for visas, work permits, etc.
+ Manage the lifecycle of immigration cases, including tracking expiration dates and employee data changes
+ Ensure compliance with immigration regulations and keep abreast of changes to immigration laws
+ Draft travel and employment verification letters for colleagues who are traveling internationally
+ Act as a resource for Human Resources on I-9 and work eligibility questions
+ Recommend and implement process improvements
+ Act as an internal point of contact for colleagues traveling internationally
**Contract Management Duties:**
+ Act as the day-to-day administrator of the Contract Lifecycle Management system
+ Manage the template library, ensuring proper version control
+ Maintain complete, accurate, and accessible working files and archives
+ Handle routine contract requests such as renewals and terminations
+ Serve as a resource for users of the Contract Lifecycle Management system by answering questions, providing troubleshooting, and conducting periodic training
+ Run and analyze reports on contract metrics and system usage
**Other Duties:**
+ Provide paralegal support for Labor and Employment, Procurement, Real Estate, and Data Privacy matters
+ Interest and ability to assist in other legal subject areas
+ Work closely with other members of the legal department on cross functional initiatives
What we are looking for
+ Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
+ 6-8 years of relevant paralegal experience in Immigration at a large law firm or in-house in a similar capacity
+ Ability to work as an impactful business partner in a dynamic environment
+ Strong analytical, writing and communication skills
+ Strong customer service focus
+ Ability to collaborate with others in a matrix management structure
+ Ability to build positive relationships with senior management and other members of the legal team and to positively influence outcomes
+ Ability to work independently with minimal guidance and direction
+ Ability to resolve ambiguities and provide guidance in uncertain situations
+ Global mindset and the ability to work virtually with business partners across the globe
+ Willingness to take on new projects even if they are outside the scope of day-to-day responsibilities
+ Experience working for global clients or a global company preferable
+ Experience with contract management systems preferable

Total Rewards Package
The salary range for this position is USD $66,000.00/Yr. - USD $99,000.00/Yr.
Actual base salary offered to a candidate may vary based upon factors including, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location.
Bonus: This position is bonus eligible.
