Job Description:
The purpose of the Integration and Test engineer position is to synthesize and define test processes for complex electro-optical and electro-mechanical systems. Coordinate assembly level through system level integration and test activities and ensure that technical obligations are fulfilled.
Experienced professional with proficient knowledge of job area and practice knowledge of project management. May manage projects or processes with general supervision Communications with contacts inside and outside of own department to explain and interpret operational processes, practices, and procedures. Recommends enhancements with systems and processes. Works to achieve operational targets for specific programs and projects with moderate impact on departmental results.
Essential Functions:
Perform systems engineering tasks for both manual and automated test processesDevelop test plans, test procedures, requirements traceability, test reports, test flow, and test case design and implementationExecute system, CCA and component level functional testing and document results Use software tools and perform scripting and software/hardware troubleshootingSetup, configure, and document hardware and software systems under test, including loading software onto multiple devices to perform verification and validationPerform root cause analysis and correction action creationSupport Operations in failure trend analysis and ensure failure trends are quickly and effectively identified and resolvedMay provide technical consultation to internal organizations and/or customersContribute to continuous improvement effortsCapable of traveling domestically and internationally up to 10%Qualifications:
