Job Title: Specialist, Integration & Test Engineer Job ID: 21282 Job Location: Van Nuys, CA Job Description: L3Harris is looking for a mid-level Integration & Test Engineer with experience working with Radar Systems, preferably the AN/SPS-48 USN electronically scanned array 3D air search radar system or similar. Essential Functions: + Responsible for LRU & system level integration & test ensuring the Radar adheres to the technical requirements set forth by the Program and meets schedule and cost objectives. + Responsible for the integration and test activities of the Radar from the system design phase through development, integration, testing, installation and sell-off of the completed system. + Perform requirements analysis for testability approach to identify any issues, specialized test capability and verification method. + Collaborates with Systems Engineering to define Requirements Verification Matrices (VCRMs) that balance capabilities, cost and efficiency of verification (test vs. analysis) + Development of formal system level test plans, procedures, and reports. + Development and execution of integration and test procedures with traceability to System requirements to ensure technical requirements are met. + Responsible for the physical and electrical compatibility of functional interfaces and first article product integration, ensuring seamless interface between the design and production of systems. + Responsible for I&T Project Cost Account Management (CAM) within EVMS. + Dry run test procedures, prepare and present at Test Readiness Review (TRR). + Troubleshoot issues found during integration & test and tracking through resolution. + Identify risks & opportunities prior to and during test activities. + Define test equipment requirements (RF hardware & software) needed for verification of system level requirements. + Travel may be required in support of Projects. + Ensure full compliance with L3Harris policies and procedures. Qualifications: + Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 8 years of prior related experience. + Active US DOD SECRET security clearance Preferred Additional Skills: + Highly motivated, self-starter and willing to learn. + Technical understanding of military (and/or civilian) radar equipment in Air Defense environments. + Solid understanding of RF and electronic testing tools, equipment and techniques + Using high-speed digital and RF test equipment (network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, power meters, oscilloscope, logic analyzers, etc.). + RF or Digital engineering (MW MCAs, FPGAs, CCAs, PWBs, etc.) and troubleshooting techniques, tools, and process. + Supporting manufacturing production of electronic devices; preferably in the Radar Systems industry. + Generating presentations and briefing internal and external customers. + Executing throughout the full System lifecycle including requirements flow down and allocation, design, development, test, and sell-off. + Excellent organization skills. + Effective communication skills in a collaborative team environment. + Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. + Experience with OSHA requirements and ESD best practices. In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role is $87,000 - $161,000. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
