Job DescriptionTo develop and provide specialist advice and guidance with the implementation of the Market Abuse Surveillance Framework as well as to conduct surveillance, in depth analysis and investigations across the entire Global Markets environment within Standard Bank Group specifically related to market abuse activities to ensure compliance to the relevant regulatory requirements and internal policies and standards therefore mitigating the potential for operational losses, fines, penalties or reputational damage to the organisation.
QualificationsA Bachelor's Degree in Finance and Accounting or Mathematical Sciences or Analytics would be a minimum requirement for this jobCharted Financial Analyst (CFA) qualification is preferredExperience Required
5-7 years in a Corporate and Investment Banking environment. This role requires a specialist with a deep understanding of banking products and activities, and associated regulatory frameworks, including client assets and transaction reporting obligations. Knowledge of upcoming regulatory developments impacting the financial services. Experience in providing guidance and advice on Market Abuse Surveillance across multiple jurisdictions would be required.The role requires a seasoned individual in Global Markets with an advanced understanding of financial and global markets, economic and market drivers, risk and regulatory environments and license holder obligations in relevant jurisdictions.Additional InformationBehavioural Competencies:
