Specialist, Marketing and Event Operations

Position Summary:

The Marketing Operations Specialist will be responsible for managing and optimizing the process and data that supports the marketing and commercial team’s activities. The primary goal is to enhance efficiency, effectiveness, and alignment across the organization by providing the tools and resources required for effective meetings. In this role you will be the main point of contact for both internal and external customers who are requesting marketing materials in support of commercial activities including tradeshows, meetings, cadaveric courses, sales trainings, and any other request received for non-clinical inventory.

Essential Functions:

Reviews and finalizes incoming product orders received by request form, phone, or e-mail in a timely manner

Processes daily request for demo and lab inventory in support of corporate and commercial meetings and coordinates shipping logistics

Ensures the timely return of inventory items after the scheduled return date

Manages the request and fulfillment of custom bone model orders in support of patient education initiatives

Generates monthly, quarterly, and annual reports detailing the usage of all demo and cadaveric lab inventory

Coordinates shipment of requested orders, resolves shipping issues, and notifies customers when requested materials are late or missing

Supports Tradeshows team with product request, inventory logistics, and occasional on-site activities including booth set-up, dismantle, workshops, hands-on labs and other promotional activities

Determines appropriate shipping method for marketing materials in accordance with company guidelines

Records and updates relevant customer order data, information, or modifications to existing orders and provides alternative resources when requested materials are unavailable

Supports international request including supporting documtation necessary for import and customs clearance

Adheres to the letter and spirit of the company Code of Conduct, the AdvaMed Code, MedTech Code, and all other company policies.

Ensures Compliance with applicable governmental laws, rules, and regulations, both in the United States and internationally, by completing introductory and annual training and maintaining knowledge of compliance as it applies to your role

Represents the company in a professional manner and upholds the highest standards of ethical business practices and socially responsible conduct in all interactions with other employees, customers, suppliers, and other third parties

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent required

Minimum of 2 - 4 years of related experience

Proficient and accurate with word processing (Word), spreadsheets (Excel), presentation programs (Power Point), charting, flow-charting, and graphs

Proven ability to communicate effectively through both written and oral means, including phone and email

The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds

Ability to travel up to 5% including weekends

Required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl

Required to regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds

Required to possess specific visons abilities, including: close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and capacity to adjust focus
