Specialist, Member Engagement - Remote Must reside in Ohio

Job Description 
Job Summary
Responsible for continuous quality improvements regarding member engagement and member retention. Represents Member perspective in areas involving member impact and engagement including: 
  

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities 

Serves as an advocate for Molina members in working with departments and external stakeholders as appropriate, including community-based organization and regulator partners. 

Manages the scheduling, preparation, and facilitation for member advisory council meetings once quarterly in each region for Medicaid and MyCare Ohio (totaling 24-28 meetings annually). Administrative duties related to the meetings include compiling member feedback from the meetings in a comprehensive, orderly format; presenting member feedback to internal teams; leading discussions and internal meetings on process improvements as a result of the member feedback; soliciting input from internal teams on upcoming meeting topics; and submitting notes to the Ohio Department of Medicaid and Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services. The ability to travel statewide within Ohio is expected to facilitate these member advisory council meetings.

Manages the scheduling, preparation, and facilitation of other special member listening sessions as needed.

Manages the scheduling, preparation, and facilitation of member appreciation events.

subject matter expert for Medicaid and MyCare Ohio value-added benefits to audiences both internal and external to Molina.

Supports tracking and reporting on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to value-added benefits and covered services.

Manages the provision of certain value-added benefits and covered services, such as Amazon Prime, WW Online, and Furniture Bank services.

 

Job Qualifications 

Required Education
High School diploma.
Required Experience
2 years experience in customer service, consumer advocacy, and/or health care systems. Experience conducting intake, interviews, and/or research of consumer or provider issues. Basic understanding of managed healthcare systems. working knowledge of Microsoft suite programs (i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, OneNote, Teams). Basic proofreading ability.
Required License, Certification, Association
Must have valid driver's license with good driving record and be able to drive within applicable state or locality with reliable transportation.
Preferred Education
Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Human Services or related field.

Preferred Experience
Experience conducting focus groups in a hybrid format (i.e. in-person and virtual formats simultaneously). Experience presenting information persuasively. Experience collecting, collating, and presenting feedback.
