Responsibilities
Supports L1A through proactive advice based on risk and control knowledge and insights and presents risk management solutions where appropriateLead the facilitation of L1A process walk-through workshops during Control testing and RCSA, and provide independent guidance on existing control design, and the operational effectiveness of controls and control remediation.Support L1A in monitoring existing controls for operational effectiveness, as the checker, and ensure any issues identified are raised to management.Support L1A in stakeholder discussions – particularly for complex CAPs – to ensure responsibilities, actions, and timelines are understood. Proactive monitoring if additional support and discussion are required with stakeholders to ensure the effectiveness of preventive solutionsCollaborate with L1A and 2LOD to understand the implications of law & regulation and align on scope of changes to ensure implementation, boundaries, and decision-making processes and authorities are aligned with the changes proposed during Standards & Policy ImplementationForm an independent review on level of risk, compare and contrast with risk owner viewsReview and challenge the outcomes of events and root cause analysis from events or incidents and proactive monitor the incident report, especially repeated itemsSupport roll-out and implementation of Regional L1B initiativesTimely produce and maintain the regular/ad-hoc reports as per requests.Drive the development and implementation of future-fit risk management frameworksWhat we are looking for:

College degree/bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent related job-work experience required.At least 5 years experience in Audit, Risk management, and/or Control and Business Continuity Management.Working in Life Insurance industry or Finance sector is a plus.3. Knowledge of controls fundamentals: Understanding of risk and controls fundamentals - i.e., control and QA frameworks, Operational risk, Archer, etc.
4. Core Competencies and Skills:
Strong stakeholder and people management skills; able to effectively articulate technical vision, possibilities, and outcomes through strong verbal and written communication.Deep understanding of Operational risks and how they can impact the business.Self-driven, able to meet objectives with a minimal amount of managerial oversight.Can distil complex issues into simple reports, solutions, and designs.Proficient in English, both verbal and written.What can we offer you?
