The Senior Specialist will be responsible in ensuring SimCorp Dimension (SCD) users have a stable, reliable, and high-performing AABOR. The successful candidate will be accountable in performing the team's daily operations and providing support to business users in addressing moderate to complex business issues.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor and clear the SimCorp Dimension (SCD) message queue throughout the day to ensure all transactions are elevated to final status at the end of dayMonitor the team-shared mailbox throughout the day and take appropriate action on the emails receivedGenerate Item of Interest (IOI) ad hoc security requests and monitoring that the security master setup occurs within an acceptable time frameInvestigate Transaction Hub (THUB) unknown queries and generate ad-hoc transactions to THUB as neededSupport ad-hoc analysis to identify the root cause of production problems and develop timely solutionsExecute user acceptance test for implementation of new security types and functionalities and system upgradeExecute and validate test cases for end-to-end processesSupport for period-end close processesWork in collaboration with the business users and Global Solutions Delivery (GSD) to create/update/maintain static data tables such as:PortfolioSecurityTransactionBank AccountSegmentAccounting ConfigurationIdentify opportunities to leverage system capabilities in order to meet business requirementsAssist junior team members by being the go-to person in resolving complex issues during shiftAny other duties or projects assigned from time to time within or beyond working hours if neededQualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or any related business courseMinimum 2-4 years of relevant experience in Investment Operations and Fund AccountingHybrid Work Arrangement: Amenability and readiness to work onsite and from home anytime (dependent on business need AND/OR current external environment/situation) and must be willing to report for a rotating schedule including night shiftSkills to Hire/ Nice to Haves:
