We are a team of 8 highly engaged people who are now looking for a new colleague to join our team.

The ideal candidate is a structured and experienced professional with an operational mind-set and an interest in the logistics- and supply chain environment. We are looking for a result-oriented and innovative person to join our team where you will help structure, develop, and optimize our different processes supporting our factory in Nordborg and distribution centers globally. Your key responsibility will be to secure deliveries to customers while balancing inventory levels.

 

This position is a unique opportunity to get valuable experience in a global- and dynamic work environment, while developing your skills and capabilities within Logistics and Supply Chain.

Job Responsibilities

With reference to the Manager of Planning & Logistics, we are looking for a skilled and professional Planning & Logistic Specialist to join the team. You will manage a comprehensive position with a wide range of tasks and responsibilities. Among others: 

Plan and secure on-time material delivery from global suppliers to factories or distribution centers, including follow-up on delays. Plan production for selected products. Monitor and improve supplier performance through collaboration, audits, and cost/lead time reductions. Negotiate and maintain Supplier Logistics Agreements (SLAs) to ensure capacity and flexibility. Maintain safety stock levels using relevant planning tools. Drive forecasting in collaboration with Sales, Demand Planning, and S&OP teams. Ensure timely maintenance and accuracy of logistics master data. Represent logistics in product lifecycle meetings (Phase-in/Phase-out) and own KPIs and process optimization. Background & Skills

Different backgrounds can come in to play to apply for this position – you can have a background as office trainee, you can have a bachelor’s degree or similar within logistics/supply chain management or you could be a newly graduate. You have excellent skills within communication, organizing, analyzing, and negotiating.

 

As a person you are proactively driven, and persistent. You are structured and can prioritize and manage time, while you maintain the ability to overlook several processes simultaneously without losing focus. You respect and understand the business’ needs, and take these into consideration in daily decision, e.g. when developing suppliers. You understand and respect cultural differences and you are fluent in English both orally and written. You are a skilled user of MS Office (especially Excel) and experience with SAP R3 (at least PP and MM module) and Business Intelligence is an advantage.
